Hi and welcome! I’m AJ Mens, a full-time digital publisher based in Sydney, Australia, with a passion for WordPress, SEO, and content strategy. Since 2015, I’ve been making a living by creating, growing, buying, and selling web properties.
I created Blog Pioneer as a platform to share practical blogging tips, unique WordPress insights, and honest reviews.
At the end of 2014, I said goodbye to my corporate life to focus on my passion which was, and is, everything digital. In other words, I took a leap of faith and decided to go through a career change. A huge step, but one that I really wanted to take. Fast forward several years, and I have no regrets.
After spending the entire year of 2015 learning, reading, trying all the things, and making all the mistakes, the penny finally dropped in 2016. Or was it 2017? Who knows. The point is, in this industry, you literally never stop learning.
Today, I manage a small portfolio of blogs and websites that generate revenue with affiliate marketing, advertising, and other channels. SEO is my passion, so that is where most of my energy is spent.
Besides looking after my own portfolio of digital properties, I also help small businesses and individual bloggers achieve growth by giving actionable advice regarding SEO, content strategy, WordPress, and website monetization.
In my spare time, I love exploring the great outdoors in Sydney and New South Wales, where I live.
